Product Introduction
Lecanemab is a humanized IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that targets soluble and insoluble amyloid β1–42 (Aβ) aggregates. Lecanemab is designed to bind to and clear amyloid-beta plaques in the brain. These plaques are believed to play a key role in the progression of Alzheimer's disease by disrupting communication between neurons and causing inflammation. By reducing amyloid buildup, the drug aims to slow cognitive decline in patients with early-stage Alzheimer's.
